Customer Reviews
When I first got the monitor, it seemed to not want to turn on. Fiddling with it for a while got things working, except that the monitor would occasionally start showing random garbage on the screen. Over the next few days, the monitor would randomly power down during usage, and would not be able to turn back on or display an on-screen display.

When the screen was working, there was a pronounced reddish shift, as stated in many of the reviews. This could be corrected, but the behavior seemed odd. Otherwise image quality and contrast was very nice when the thing was working.

Of course, my screen also had the exact limit of the number of dead/ghost/stuck pixels that meant it was ineligible for replacement. This was irritating, but par for the course, I suppose.

In any event, the random power downs became a big issue after a while, so I called HP support, and was told the monitor doesn't exist. I ended up having to be transferred five times, until finally I was connected to their business division, which transferred me several more times, and eventually found somebody who could diagnose and authorize a replacement for the screen. I would have to say the customer service is some of the worst I've ever encountered. I was prohibited from getting any sort of issue tracking between agents, since "those parts of the business do not communicate with each other." Incredible.

In any event, I received a replacement about a week later (though I had three different tracking numbers from two different shippers, none of which corresponded to the actual package I received), and then struggled for weeks in order to get the return shipment label; I was repeatedly told I would be emailed said label in 7-10 business days (!!), but it ended up taking several more calls, as well as the aforementioned weeks.

In any event, now that I have a working screen, it seems to function well, beyond the red shift. The stand and design is a bit awkward, it feels clumsy and front-heavy compared to my Dell screens. Given the delivery of a lemon fresh from the factory (which seems to be a common theme) and a horrid support experience in getting it replaced, I can't in good conscience recommend this screen.
